SALES/AFTERSALES ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Oak Furniture House. We are a fast-growing e-Commerce furniture company based in Witney, Oxfordshire. We supply our customers with a wide range of Indoor and Outdoor Furniture. We are looking for a confident, personable candidate that will be able to learn the product range quickly and deliver an exceptional service to our customers.

We will provide training to the successful candidate but will require someone to be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, as some of the hour’s work required will be working alone.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service which includes greeting customers when they come to our showroom, answering their questions, and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Advise customers on products that best suit their needs – this will be dealing with phone calls / online chat / email lead enquiries
  • Outbound calling and emailing of “warm” leads (no cold calling)
  • Sending customers finance agreements where required to close leads
  • Contacting customers after delivery to ensure they were happy with their experience and communicate any issues to the Customer Service team
  • Respond to reviews across various review platforms including Trust Pilot and Google, and handle any negative reviews to resolve a situation for an unhappy customer

 

Key Skills:

Essential:

  • Relevant experience in Sales and/or Customer Service
  • Experience handling phone calls and emails

Desirable:

  • Experience with Shopify platforms
  • Face to face sales experience
  • Knowledge of the furniture industry

Salary: £21,000 + commission

Working hours: 11:00 - 20:00 Sunday - Thursday (every Friday and Saturday off)
