Know your space:

*What items do you need in the room and how are you roughly going to lay the room out?

*Do you have clutter in the room currently? Why not go for items that have drawers instead of shelves.

Measuring up your space:

Choose the items you are needing and whilst shopping always look to see the dimensions. Once you have decided you want certain items re measure your room to double check.

Does the furniture come fully assembled? Insure that the item will fit though all of the doors and hallways to get to the required room. Most dining tables, console tables and beds are flat pack. Please see the assembly type in the product description of each item. If you ever have a question, feel free to contact us.

Leave enough space to walk around the room easily. If an item extends or is a set of two, insure that you have enough space for this feature.

Maintaining furniture is relatively simple. We have created a furniture care page specially to answer all of your questions to help preserve the longevity of your item.

Oak Specific:

Why choose oak?

Oak is a solid hardwood that is ideal for the manufacture of furniture. Offering considerable durability and longevity as it is strong, sturdy and reliable. It is one of the most popular woods used in furniture and each item features unique grain patterns.

What are the benefits of oak furniture?

The main advantages of oak furniture are:

Easy Maintenance – Oak furniture items are easy to maintain and highly resistance to warping.

Durability – Items can last for generations ensuring unrivalled value for money. This cannot be matched by flat pack furniture.

Visually Pleasing – The unique grain patterns ensure an attractive furniture item that offers great style and sophistication which is unlike any other item.

What is oak veneered furniture?

Veneered furniture just means that part of the item is constructed with different material rather than being 100% solid wood. Some people prefer the cheaper price tag this can be whilst others want their item to be all one type of wood. See the product description to see what the item is made out of and if it contains veneers. We have a post on our blog looking into the advantages of veneer here.
